The EDGA Development Team were in action at the European Tour group’s Wentworth HQ in Surrey, England to deliver a two-hour session to DP World Tour staff as part of the ‘Lunch & Learn’ programme.
The participants covered a range of topics to further enhance their knowledge of EDGA’s initiatives and values, as well as being able to experience playing golf with various disability simulations.
Maria Grandinetti Milton, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the European Tour group, said: “As we drive our Golf for Good programme forwards across the Tour, both internally within our offices and externally in the global markets we play in, having the opportunity to strengthen our understanding of inclusion with these focus sessions has given us additional insight into what we can all do – whether at work or in our personal lives – to further educate ourselves on the challenges faced by up to 25% of our population.”
The EDGA Development Team lead by Aimi Bullock, Director of Development, and Mark Taylor, Head of Development, will deliver additional sessions ahead of the G4D Tour @ BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club in early September, and they will also visit Dubai to further support the collaboration between EDGA and the European Tour group’s commitment to the G4D Tour.
