EDGA’s Head of Development and PGA Fellow Professional Mark Taylor will arrive in South Africa for phase two of the coach education and development support to EDGA member federation Golf RSA supported by the Alfred Dunhill Links Foundation.
The visit will comprise of ups killing existing coaches and training a further 25 PGA of South Africa coaches at the SADGA offices at King David Mowbray Golf Club just outside of Cape Town.
The visit will also include planning with SADGA to further develop their reach, capacity and player pathway. Meetings with the PGA of South Africa to potentially include EDGA’s coach education as both a retro fit for qualified and a mandatory addition to the existing coach education framework.
Mark will also get an opportunity to visit three schools for children with disability to observe the training provision which has been established since the last visit in November 2021.
